Vytrus Biotech trademarks its plant exosome-based active ingredient technology

Vytrus Biotech, the company focused on biotechnological active ingredients for skin and hair care, announces the trademarking of its Exopeptides™ technology, a strategic step that strengthens its position in plant exosome-based cosmetic innovation.

Exopeptides™ is Vytrus’ proprietary technology focused on the characterization and use of natural plant exosomes enriched with bioactive peptide profiles. This scientific platform supports the development of cosmetic active ingredients for skin and hair care, combining biological and clinical efficacy with a natural and sustainable approach.

Through its research into plant exosomes — tiny extracellular vesicles that transfer biological information — Vytrus has identified a rich diversity of plant-derived peptides inside natural exosomes. These molecular communicators have shown benefits in well-aging, anti-inflammatory action, and skin and hair regeneration.

This technology is already present in three of Vytrus’ active ingredients:

  • Clarivine™– A skin longevity booster with unique fasting-mimicking mechanisms on the skin
  • Centella Reversa™ – A skin rejuvenating active that helps reverse cellular senescence
  • Capilia Longa™– A hair-density supporting ingredient for hair, eyebrows and lashes
