The 2025 World Cosmetics Expo, held in the Netherlands from 8 to 10 April, ended with an 84% increase in attendance and a 16% increase in international visitors. Of the 1,043 booths at the show, 225 were new and 169 were in the Innovation Zone.
The show featured a number of panels, including the “Regulation Panel: Navigating Global Regulatory Challenges” panel featuring experts from REACH24H, the European Federation of Cosmetic Ingredients (EFfCI), the Cosmetics, Hygiene and Perfumery Association (CTPA), POTION INC and Bustos Law Group.
Natural active ingredients, sustainable biotechnological ingredients, ingredients for scalp health and advanced microbiome science were among the highlights of the show, with all ingredients competing for the Best Global Cosmetics Innovation Award. Lucas Meyer Cosmetics won Gold in the functional category and Solabia Group won Gold in the active category.
The Paris World Cosmetics Fair 2026 will be held from April 14 to 16 at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Paris, France.
