Panthenyl Hydroxypropyl Steardimonium Chloride is a conditioning agent in hair/skin products, combining Pro-Vitamin B5 (Panthenol) with fatty acid derivatives (like Stearic Acid) to provide deep moisturization, anti-static properties, shine, smoothness, and improved manageability, working well in shampoos, conditioners, and serums to reduce damage and enhance texture without defoaming, even with anionic surfactants.

It does not defoam as used in shampoo formulation, it can improve the viscosity of shampoo. It is compatible with various kinds of surfactants without any formation of turbidity and precipitation.
