Sodium sulfate

Sodium sulfate is defined as an inorganic compound with the chemical formula Na2SO4, occurring as white, odorless, and hygroscopic crystals or powder.

Sodium sulfate, used as a filler in detergent powder, enables the adjustment of the concentration of the active matter in the detergent, as required. Sodium sulfate is added to make the detergent powder flow freely. Without it, the detergent would easily stick together and become one big block. Sodium sulfate can also reduce the cost of detergent powder.

It is a versatile substance used in various industrial applications, including the production of detergents, textiles, glass, and paper. In the context of washing powder, sodium sulfate serves several essential functions.

Sodium sulfate plays many roles in washing powder like: Bulk Density, Flow Agent, Manufacturing Aid, Hard Water Softening, Buffering Agent
