L’Oréal unveiled infrared hair and skin technologies at CES 2026

CES is an annual trade show organized by the Consumer Technology Association. Held in January at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Winchester, Nevada, United States, the event typically hosts presentations of new products and technologies in the consumer electronics industry.

CES 2026 was held from January 6 to 9, 2026.

L’Oréal Groupe has unveiled two new beauty tech innovations at CES 2026, introducing infrared light-based technologies for hair styling and skincare.

Both the Light Straight + Multi-styler and the LED Face Mask were named CES 2026 Innovation Award Honorees. The Light Straight + Multi-styler uses infrared light to style hair at lower temperatures than traditional tools, aiming to reduce heat-related damage while maintaining performance.

The LED Face Mask, currently in prototype form, delivers red and near-infrared light through a flexible silicone design to target visible signs of skin ageing. L’Oréal said the device is designed for short, automated treatments and is under development in collaboration with LED technology specialists.
