ALBUMEN(Egg white)

Albumen( also known as egg white) is derived from egg whites. It is the term given specifically to the protein component that is found in eggs. However, it does not have the odor characteristic of egg white as it is spray-dried during the manufacturing process. Albumen protein can also be extracted from soybeans.

Albumen is rich in protein and has varied skin-enhancing properties. Since it is derived from eggs, it is a natural substance that tightens and tones the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Additionally, due to its astringent nature, albumen helps control excess oil, making it beneficial for individuals with oily or acne-prone skin. In cosmetics, it is often incorporated to impart a firming effect and promote a smoother complexion. With its nutrient-rich composition, albumen protein contributes to a revitalized and refreshed appearance, making it an extremely popular choice in skincare products.

Also, albumen fights discoloration and evens out the skin tone for a glowing appeal.
