LIMNANTHES ALBA SEED OIL
Limnanthes Alba Seed Oil, also known as Meadowfoam Seed Oil, is a unique plant oil primarily composed of long-chain fatty acids, with over 95% having 20 or more carbon atoms. The key fatty acids include eicosenoic acid (C20:1), docosenoic acid (C22:1), and docosadienoic acid (C22:2). These long-chain fatty acids contribute to the oil’s exceptional oxidative stability and unique moisturizing properties.
It is obtained by enzymatic digestion of meadowfoam seed oil using highly active enzymes produced by probiotic fermentation. It is rich in free fatty acids, promoting the production of active substances such as ceramides in the skin. Also, it offers a silky-smooth texture and recommended for skin-, hair- and body care products.
