Lucas Meyer Cosmetics announces the global launch of KanuFresh (INCI: Glycerin (and) Water (and) Kunzea Ericoides Leaf Extract), an ingredient the company describes as an innovative breakthrough that closes the longstanding gap between conventional deodorants and sweat control solutions.
Responsibly sourced from Australian kānuka leaves, this ingredient helps minimize visible signs of perspiration and odor, rather than simply masking them, according to the supplier.
Unlike conventional approaches, KanuFresh works through what the supplier describes as a unique multi-action mechanism that helps keep skin visibly dry, fresh and comfortable, while supporting a balanced skin environment. According to Lucas Meyer Cosmetics, this enables whole-body freshness, including in sensitive areas, without compromising skin comfort.
KanuFresh is supported by a robust package of in vitro and in vivo studies, alongside clinical validation in real-world conditions, the supplier reports. In vitro studies showed KanuFresh can address both sweat and odor formation without disrupting the skin’s natural microbial balance.
